When you stop to really notice just how much you have to be thankful for, it seems to grow in your awareness.
By simply acknowledging these things and saying “thank you” out loud, you seem to increase them.
This is how gratitude can foster feelings of generosity…which in turn creates give-and-take dynamics with others in which there is yet more to be thankful for.
Well, when you are continuously cultivating a grateful and positive attitude, you instantly communicate that to everyone you encounter, even if only on an unconscious level.
In this way, gratitude and kindness are almost contagious.
When you treat yourself well, you make it more likely that you treat others the same way, and those good feelings spread.
