The cape repesents the stepping off point in our lives where we must transition from a position of understanding to one of challenge and expansion.
Only in our willingness to move past the safety of boundaries are we able to discover new worlds.
The authors contend, convincingly, that it is not necessary for us to be in control and have knowledge in order to succeed. We need a sense of adventure and challenge to learn new things and expand our capabilities.
